Water-resistant, scratch-proof and seriously satisfying.
Choose from high-gloss for a glazed ceramic shine or matte for a more natural, modern finish. Both protect your pottery while enhancing the final look.

How to Use Our Varnish:

Wait for your piece to dry completely for a minimum of 2 - 3 days. It’s important your creation is bone dry before painting (very light in color and hard to the touch).
Apply 2 generous coats of our white acrylic eggshell base layer on the inside, outside and base of your creation. Allow this to dry for a couple of Hours.
Apply 2 generous coats of our ultra glossy or matte varnish on the inside, outside and base of your creation. Allow this to set completely overnight to ensure a waterproof finish.

LOVE THIS VARNISH
So incredibly impressed with this varnish! It dries so much quicker than advertised which makes it even more amazing. Dried in less than 30 mins in my 20 degree flat and the coats were so easy to do. When it came to cleaning the pot I put it in to dip my brush into, it was so hard to get off because the varnish is so good and very water resistant!! It showed how great the product is! On top of that, no streaky lines! This will definitely be my go to varnish from now on. A little goes a long way. Managed to do 2 coats, front and back of 42 of the clay circles pictured with one pot.

I’m actually amazed
I love everything about Sculpd air dry clay kits. I tried two of them so far and it exceeded all my expectations. The clay is nice and smooth, very lovely to work with. The instructions are easy to follow and after familiarising myself with the tools, the procedure became really enjoyable. And those colours, oh my god. 😊 My favourite was the candle making kit. I’ve never once in my life made a candle but I managed to create a nice pot and poured the wax with no problem. Can’t wait to create more.

Fast drying, easy to use
It dries really quickly, gives a great finish to items and is easy to use. Make sure there is no dust or bits of loose clay or they will get garnished in to the finish. Maybe could be a bit shinier, but I am very happy with it.
